Healthy individuals can mobilize all of their mental, physical, and spiritual resources to increase their survival chances, live fulfilling and happy lives, and be of benefit to their dependents and the society.
It takes effort to achieve and maintain health. Preventive measures and keeping our bodies and minds healthy are key to natural health. These aspects are balanced through diet, exercise, emotional regulation, and healthy lifestyle choices. This last one is often overlooked when health advice is given, but it can have a significant effect on your physical well-being.
Diet
Each day new research is showing that lifestyle factors such as diet and alcohol intake have a direct impact on longevity and health. Good physical fitness refers to good health. Anaerobic exercise, such as weight training and sprinting, increases muscle mass, strength, and endurance. Exercise is only as good as proper rest and recovery. Otherwise, the body will remain in an injured state and not be able to adapt to the exercise. These two factors can be affected by psychological compulsions, such as eating disorders like exercise bulimia and other bulimias, misinformation, lack of organization, or lack of motivation.
